"Pilot Chow" Flash instructions (continued) for Scene 2

Create Scene 2, layer one:

1. Go to Insert> Scene
2. Use the rectangular shape tool to create a 'landing strip' at the bottom of the stage. Group it.
3. Drag 'chow.png' to the left side of the stage. Rename layer one 'tarmac layer' and lock the layer.

Add a second layer to the timeline in Scene 2 for the next steps. Call it 'plane layer'.

Create the plane graphic symbol for Scene 2:

The Plane:
1. Go to Insert>New Symbol. Make it a Graphic symbol and call it 'plane2' and click OK.
2. Drag 'plane.png' from the Library panel to the stage. Drag 'prop.png' to it's position at the front of the plane.
3. Go back to Scene 2
3. Select the second layer (plane layer). Drag this new Graphic symbol 'plane2' to the stage.
4. Position it offstage to the right.

Create the timeline animation in Scene 2:

1. Insert a keyframe to frame 20 of the second layer. Reposition the Graphic symbol 'plane2' to the right of the 'chow.png' graphic.
2. Select all frames in layer two, and convert them to a classic tween.
3. Create an 'actions' layer to the timeline and insert a keyframe at frame 20. Select it, and add a stop action to this keyframe. Add the text "Park and Bark!" to this keyframe.

Add a Replay button and Assign the button behavior

1. Create a simple button in the lower right corner of the keyframe. Make sure all states of the button are filled by frames
2. Go back to Scene 2
3. Select the button, open the Behaviors panel, and assign the behavior Movieclip>Go to and Play at Frame or Label
4. In the dialog box that opens, type the word 'start' in the lower field (the named frame in Scene 1)

Test your Movie

Go to File> Publish Preview>
